UK Tax Manager - either 100% remote working within the UK (or based in London / Edinburgh offices)
To £70,000 (negotiable) base salary plus 10% bonus & benefits
Interested candidates must already be working in the UK.
This is a role in a fast-growing, highly acquisitive renewables company to be their UK Tax Manager.
Much of the tax work is currently being handling by external advisers. The idea is that you would work with the external firm to transfer some of the UK entities tax compliance in-house, but you will also develop skills in TP, VAT, Employment Tax and have the opportunity to work on international tax projects.
You will be joining a small HQ Tax team (located overseas).
Part of the role will involve you taking the time to understand how the business works; look at how UK tax processes work; recommend improvements and begin to gain the knowledge required to truly own UK Tax matters.
We are looking for someone with a minimum 5 years’ UK corporate tax experience, gained either in a Firm or ‘in-house’ and with a keen interest in learning. You will be given the time to learn. The company is investing in its future by recruiting this UK Tax Manager.
Whilst there are offices in London & Edinburgh, the company operates a very flexible work policy and is happy to recruit someone (to work remotely) from anywhere in the UK. Ideally you will be willing to make occasional trips to London and / or Edinburgh if you do not live near either of these locations.
