Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a dedicated Assembly Fitter to contribute to the team. If your hobbies include working at cars, motorbikes or farm machinery, and you would like to make a full time career of this, apply below and we will provide full training.

As an Assembly Fitter at Terex based in Campsie, you will be part of the assembly line fitting team using power and manual tools, following technical engineering drawings whilst working to set targets on production line. You will be constantly aware of the health and safety controls in place, and work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assembly line fitting
  • Use of power and manual tooling
  • Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  • Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
  • Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts

Requirements

Essential:

  • Working to strict health and safety procedures
  • Ability to install hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Use of power and manual tools

Desirable:

  • Keen approach to problem solving
  • Good mechanical skills

The ideal applicant will have experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
