Full time Consultant Psychiatrist. The post holder will provide psychiatrist outpatient care for adults aged 18-65 in the Wellingborough and East Northants CMHT Main duties of the job
- Provide clinical leadership to the team and take clinical responsibility for the assessment and treatment of patients as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Clinics for assessing new referrals, medication reviews for patients in the team and reviews.
- Supervision of MDT colleagues around cases they are managing
- Oversee the medication and care of patients in the depot and clozapine clinics
- Undertake Mental Health Act assessments on patients from within the sector
- Be the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under a Community Treatment Order
