I'm looking for a gardener to plant several fruit trees in my backyard. The area is fairly level, but I’d like guidance on spacing, soil preparation, and pruning basics for the first year. I have young apple and plum trees ready to be planted, and I’d prefer someone with experience in UK climates and planting fruit-bearing species. Please bring or confirm tools, provide waste disposal for any root balls, and let me know if I should amend the soil with compost or mulch. I’m hoping to start mid-morning and finish within a few hours.
