Clinical System Lead

As a Clinical System Lead at ICON, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of clinical systems used in clinical research. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to build a career in clinical technology, data systems, and clinical trial operations within a global healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
You will work closely with experienced team members to support clinical systems that enable the successful delivery of clinical trials. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of clinical trial systems, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
Supporting stakeholders and end users with system-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems where appropriate.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand study requirements and support system setup activities.
Assisting with system upgrades, enhancements, user acceptance testing, and documentation activities.
Supporting the development and maintenance of system processes, standards, and best practices.
Monitoring system performance and helping ensure clinical data is managed efficiently and accurately.
Participating in training and development opportunities to build technical and clinical systems expertise.
What You Will Have/Be
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in clinical research, technology, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical development.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
A willingness to learn new technologies and develop expertise in clinical trial systems.
