Operations Advisor (Portuguese Speaker)

We're looking for a fluent Portuguese-speaking Operations Advisor to join a growing European services business. Working within a diverse and supportive team, you'll play a key role in helping customers with insurance enquiries, policy administration, and claims management across multiple markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building customer relationships, and delivering outstanding service. You'll be the trusted point of contact for customers, brokers, insurers, and suppliers, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally, efficiently, and with care.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting customers with insurance-related queries in Portuguese and English
• Managing customer communications via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Handling insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution
• Investigating claims, gathering evidence, and liaising with insurers and suppliers
• Building strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Ensuring service levels are met while maintaining excellent customer outcomes

What we're looking for

• Native-level Portuguese language skills (spoken and written)
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous claims handling experience is beneficial but not essential
