A Fortune 500 group financial services group with international headquarters based in West London is seeking an interim VAT Manager for a maternity cover. Reporting directly into the VAT VP, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure within a global reputable company.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the EMEA VAT compliance process, managing the production of VAT returns
- Prepare and submit group VAT returns, liaising closely with HMRC
- Streamline compliance of VAT
- Advise group on up-coming and current VAT legislation
- Answer group queries on VAT
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience within the financial services sector
- Ability to work autonomously and push processes to completion
- Previous exposure dealing with partial exemption methods
- Experience of people management preferential but not essential
