A flourishing Outstanding primary in Peterborough seeks a creative Reception Teacher to lead a nurturing Reception class on a Full-Time basis from January 2026 . This Full-Time Reception Teacher role offers the opportunity to shape a rich Early Years environment in a setting rated Outstanding; the Reception Teacher will be part of an experienced Early Years team and begin planning before January 2026 , attend induction in January 2026, and be teaching from January 2026 .
What the Reception Teacher will do
As the Reception Teacher , you will design inspiring continuous provision, lead daily phonics and language sessions, and use high-quality observations to plan next steps. The Reception Teacher will work closely with families to create consistent routines, support transitions into Year 1, and coordinate with TAs to deliver targeted interventions. The Reception Teacher will start collaborative planning ahead of January 2026 , participate in induction during January 2026, and teach as a Full-Time Reception Teacher from January 2026 .

We are looking for a passionate Reception Teacher with QTS/EYTS, recent EYFS experience and strong communication skills. The ideal Reception Teacher models excellent adult-child interaction and is confident leading daily phonics as the Reception Teacher . You should be ready to begin handover and planning before January 2026 , attend induction during January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Reception Teacher .
