Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant

Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant Elgin, Moray | Hybrid and flexible working £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary | OTE £50,000+ Thistle Rose Recruitment is growing and we're looking for an experienced recruiter to join the business. We specialise in recruitment across the manufacturing sector. Much of our work is within food and drink, where we partner with some of the biggest brands in Scotland and across the wider UK. This is an opportunity to join an independent recruitment business at an early stage and play a real part in its growth. We’ll also be moving into a new office in the centre of Elgin in the near future. You’ll manage the recruitment process from start to finish. That means building relationships with clients, winning new business, taking detailed briefs and finding the right people for each role. We take a proactive headhunting approach rather than simply advertising vacancies and waiting for applications. You’ll have access to LinkedIn Recruiter, multiple job boards and the tools you need to build strong candidate networks. The role will include:

• Building relationships with new and existing clients
• Winning and developing new business
• Taking job briefs and advising clients on the market
• Proactively sourcing and headhunting candidates
• Managing interviews, offers and placements
• Developing long term relationships with clients and candidates

Ideally, you’ll have experience managing the full recruitment process. Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food and drink would be useful, but it isn’t essential. The most important thing is that you’re proactive, good with people and care about doing recruitment properly. You’ll enjoy building genuine relationships and working in partnership with businesses. What’s on offer:

• £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary
• OTE of £50,000+
• Uncapped bonus on everything you bill
• No threshold before you start earning bonus
• Hybrid and flexible working
• Flexi-time
• Enhanced holidays
• LinkedIn Recruiter and access to multiple job boards
• Plenty of autonomy to develop your own market

There is no ceiling on where this position could go. As Thistle Rose grows, there may be an opportunity to build and lead a team. That isn’t an expectation, though. If you want to remain a hands-on recruiter and focus on building a successful desk, that will be equally valued. Thistle Rose Recruitment is a member of the Moray Chamber of Commerce. We also donate a percentage of every invoice to Charlie House, supporting babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families. If you’re an experienced recruiter based in Moray or the surrounding area and would like an informal, confidential conversation, we’d be happy to hear from you
