Time Type: Full time
Job Type: Permanent We’re looking for a Deputy Estates Manager to join our Estates team based in London Bridge Hospital. The Estates team plays a critical role in ensuring the hospital environment is safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times. From maintaining essential infrastructure to supporting clinical services with high-quality facilities management, the team underpins the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role is key in supporting the smooth running of the hospital estate, working closely with senior leadership and technical teams to uphold the highest standards across all facilities. As a Deputy Estates Manager you’ll support the leadership and day-to-day management of the Estates function, ensuring statutory compliance and operational efficiency across the hospital site. Working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, the role offers variety and responsibility—from overseeing maintenance programmes to managing contractors and driving continuous improvement. Collaboration is central to success in this position, partnering with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure the estate meets the evolving needs of patients and colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior position within a highly respected organisation, where your expertise will directly contribute to a safe and high-performing hospital environment. Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers. In the UK, we’re one of the largest providers of privately funded healthcare and have invested over £500 million in the latest treatments, technology, techniques, medication and facilities. Being part of a large multisite, established healthcare group we can offer you unrivalled opportunities for career progression through internal and external courses, as well as working conditions that prioritise both your mental and physical wellbeing. By caring for our colleagues, we empower them to provide exceptional care for our patients. That’s why we offer a host of flexible benefits that reflect the invaluable contribution they make every day. As a Deputy Estates Manager you’ll be eligible for:
At HCA UK we believe exceptional care starts with our people. We celebrate the unique perspectives and different experiences each of us bring as we know that when you feel seen, heard and supported you can be at your best for our patients, and each other.
