Audit Manager – Financial Services
Location: Flexible Glasgow or Edinburgh (Hybrid working available)
Are you an experienced audit professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking an Audit Manager to join a dynamic Financial Services Audit team . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including investment trusts, VCTs, wealth managers, and other corporate entities within the financial services sector.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day audit work across a varied client portfolio.
- Oversee audit planning, scheduling, and delegation of tasks.
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and support.
- Build strong relationships with client staff and stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets and timelines, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Identify and escalate issues promptly to ensure smooth project execution.
About You
- Qualified CA (or equivalent) – part-qualified candidates may be considered based on experience.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Previous experience in audit within financial services or a similar role.
- A collaborative leader committed to professional development.
