About the Role and You

Contract type : Full-time, permanent

Salary : Dependent on experience

Start date : September 2026

We are looking for someone who has:

· Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across KS3–KS5

· Preparing pupils for GCSE and A Level examinations

· Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, using data to inform teaching

· Contributing to curriculum development within the Maths department

· Supporting the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities

The ideal candidate should:

· Holds a degree in Mathematics or a related subject (QTS desirable)

· Has experience teaching Maths to GCSE (A Level desirable)

· Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and high expectations

· Is passionate about inspiring young people

· Has excellent organisational and communication skills

· Is committed to continuous professional development

· Has the ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEMH
