Your Role at a Glance: The key ways you'll bring value to the team

• Analyse the financial and non-financial data of new and existing customers across a range of sectors to build a clear understanding of their business model, growth trajectory and funding needs

• Identify and assess the risks involved in funding a variety of business types, including but not limited to software, professional services, healthcare, bars and events

• Support and help coordinate regular calls with customers to deepen our understanding of their operations, financial performance and future plans

• Work closely with management to design and implement new processes, tools and frameworks that enable us to lend effectively across different industries

• Collaborate with our sales and operations teams to understand how customers are acquired and onboarded, and how we build long-term funding relationships

• Learn about our loan portfolio and risk management approach, including how we monitor performance, detect early warning signals and exit high-risk positions

• Work cross-functionally with product, data, engineering and commercial teams on high-impact projects that shape how we underwrite, fund and support businesses globally

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in one (or more) of the following; investment or lending role at a bank, fund or fintech

• The broader your experience with SME or SMB lending in the UK, the better.

• We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the nuances of lending to different business models and industries

• Consistent and strong academic record

• Ability to analyse and interpret financial reporting presented by companies (e.g. management accounts, financial models, statutory accounts)

• Comfort leading regular internal and external (client-facing) meetings and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders

• CPA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA qualification - preferred, but not essential

• Studying towards (or intending to study towards) a professional accounting/finance qualification - preferred, but not essential

Dublin, Our Buzzing HQ

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model. The number of in-office days depends on your team, but the majority of teams and our SLT are typically in 3-4 days per week, giving you valuable exposure to senior leadership.

London, One Big Family

Home to around 30 employees, our brand-new London office also runs on a hybrid model. You’ll often find our CEO working alongside the team with regular visits.

Sydney, Small but Mighty

Our close-knit Sydney office has around 20 employees and follows a flexible hybrid model, fostering strong collaboration.

Atlanta, New York & Charlotte, Stateside Collaboration
