Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care & Supported Living
Location: Carmarthen, South Wales
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm, on-call shared with Deputy)
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a young and growing care organisation in Carmarthen, delivering domiciliary care and supported living services across a combined caseload. The service currently supports 17 service users across approximately 210 hours per week, with a small but dedicated team in place including a Deputy Manager and Care Coordinators. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced senior care professional ready to step up into a Registered Manager position.

The Role

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of domiciliary care and supported living services
Ensure full compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards and safeguarding requirements
Lead and support the Deputy Manager, Care Coordinators, and wider care team
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, documentation, and audits
Manage on-call responsibilities shared with the Deputy Manager
Maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals
Drive service quality, improvement, and sustainable growth

Requirements

Experience within domiciliary care and / or supported living — essential
Must be approved as a Registered Manager with Social Care Wales
NVQ Level 3 or 4 (willing working towards Level 5) — essential
Full UK driving licence — essential
Background working with dementia, autism, ADHD, bed-bound, and adults 18+
Strong IT, administration, communication, and leadership skills
Committed, caring, and ready to take ownership of a growing service
