This specialist autism school is part of a wider education and care group and supports children and young people aged 7-19 with high-functioning autism and associated learning needs, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Position Details:
* Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Salary: £22,000 - £23,500 per annum
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:15am - 4:30pm
* Supporting primary and secondary SEN learners (ages 7-19)
* Autism specialist setting (purpose-built environment)
* This opportunity begins with a 12-week temporary placement before transferring into the school's permanent staff team

* Supporting pupils with autism on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with structured learning across a broad curriculum
* Supporting communication, emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and life skills
