Our client is one of the UK's most successful construction groups, with an enviable pipeline of major public sector and infrastructure frameworks. They are renowned for delivering highly complex, large-scale developments that shape local infrastructure. They are currently mobilising for a landmark, £100m+ multi-building government scheme in the Hampshire region and require a heavy-hitting Project Manager to drive a significant phase of the build.

The Role
This is a site-based leadership role on a highly secure, logistically complex, large-scale campus development. You will be taking ownership of a major structural/delivery package, reporting directly into the Project Director.
Your duties will include:
- Package Leadership: Taking full operational control of a significant phase/package within this £100m+ development, managing it from groundworks and heavy structures through to completion.
- Logistics & Planning: Navigating a logistically challenging, highly secure site environment, ensuring seamless coordination of massive supply chains and direct labour.
- Health, Safety & Quality: Upholding the uncompromising safety and quality standards expected on a major government project.
- Commercial & Programme Awareness: Working closely with the commercial and planning teams to ensure your section of the build is delivered profitably and strictly to the master programme.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaising closely with government clients, strict regulatory bodies, and internal senior management.
- Essential: A formidable, proven track record operating as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within a leading or large-scale Main Contractor environment.
- Essential: Demonstrable experience helping to deliver major projects (valued at £50m+), particularly multi-building, heavy structural, or campus-style developments.
- Essential: Experience working within highly secure or strictly regulated environments (e.g., MoD, MoJ, aviation, or major healthcare).
- Essential Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black (Manager) Card, and First Aid.
- Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the client, you must have a clear background and be eligible to pass strict government security vetting (e.g., BPSS or SC clearance).
- Salary: £75,000 to £85,000 basic salary.
