What you'll be doing Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsBuilding positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learnSupporting learning both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventionsEncouraging emotional regulation, confidence, and independenceWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral teams What we're looking for A calm, patient, and positive approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence working with children and young people who may display challenging behavioursA genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needsPrevious experience in education, care, youth work, coaching, mental health support, or similar environments is desirable but not essential Why work in SEN and SEMH education?
