Salary: Grade H (24 - 27) £35,412 - £38,220 (actual salary £30,324 - £32,729)

Magna Academy is seeking to recruit an exceptional Senior Pastoral Worker to join our invaluable Phoenix Team.

In this vital role, you will design, deliver and track targeted support across the academy, ensuring our students overcome barriers to learning and fully maximise their education.

About the Phoenix Team

The Phoenix Team is an integral hub within Magna Academy, providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for our most vulnerable students. Our core mission is to equip students with the confidence and skills they need to thrive in the classroom and succeed in an ever-changing world.

Our comprehensive provision incorporates:

• Targeted pastoral and Teaching Assistant (TA) support

• Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) interventions

• 1:1 counselling and nurture groups

• Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) interventions

• Bespoke, tailored programmes to drive student progress

The Role and Your Impact

As a Senior Pastoral Worker, you will be at the forefront of our inclusive mission. You will be responsible for identifying students' social, emotional and mental health needs, collaborating closely with families, academy staff and external partners. By implementing targeted interventions, you will empower students to confidently access the curriculum and achieve their full potentia l.
