About the Role

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students with special educational needs access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their goals. You’ll work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance that encourages progress both academically and emotionally

Key Responsibilities as a SEN Learning Support Assistant in Huddersfield:

* Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups within the classroom.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes.
* Provide emotional and pastoral support to students where needed.
* Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Support students with varying needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

The Ideal Candidate for the role of a SEN Learning Support Assistant in Huddersfield:
