Quality Inspector

Contract : Full time

Weekly hours : 40

**UP TO £16.64 PER HOUR - EARLY FINISH EVERY FRIDAY**

Our client, a leading defence and engineering manufacturer based in Pershore , is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

Training and support will be provided, with long-term career development opportunities available for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 17:15
• Friday: 07:45 - 13:00

Pay Rate:

• £13.40 - £16.64 per hour (Depending on Experience)
• Overtime available at enhanced rates up to £33.28 per hour (After 40 hours worked)

Duties Include:

• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
• Using precision measuring equipment including verniers, height gauges and multi-axis measurement arms
• Inspecting components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
• Completing and supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
• Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Maintaining accurate inspection and calibration records
• Investigating quality issues and customer concerns
• Supporting continuous improvement activities throughout the business
• Assisting with production flow and identifying manufacturing bottlenecks
• Supporting and advising shop-floor personnel on quality requirements and standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834 or AS9100
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues, customers and management
