Salary: Dependent on experience
An established independent school in Bridgwater, Somerset is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to take responsibility for the school’s buildings, grounds, security and general facilities.
This is an important operational role and will suit someone with previous experience managing a busy site who is confident coordinating contractors and prioritising maintenance requirements.
You will work closely with the school’s leadership team to ensure that the premises remain safe, secure and fully operational.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the premises
Managing planned and reactive maintenance
Coordinating external contractors
Carrying out regular site inspections
Monitoring building and grounds conditions
Supporting health and safety requirements
Managing access and security arrangements
Organising repairs and maintenance visits
Maintaining premises records
Supporting school events and activities
The ideal candidate will have experience within premises, estates, facilities, property or site management.
Education-sector experience would be beneficial, although candidates with relevant commercial or public-sector experience will also be considered.
