As a French Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching French across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.

• Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and setting targets for improvement.

• Contributing to curriculum development, resource creation, and departmental initiatives.

• Leading or supporting co-curricular activities such as language clubs, competitions, and exchange programs.

• Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school to share best practices and support school initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.

• PGCE or QTS qualification.

• Experience teaching French at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.

• Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and effective communication.

• Passion for promoting language learning and cultural awareness.
