CER Education are seeking to appoint a learning support assistant to to work within the SEND department of a mainstream Knowsley Secondary School. The pay for this role will range from £95 – £110 per day. The role is temporary but has a potential to be a permanent on suitability. Pay rate is dependant on level of qualifications, experience and additional training. Advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay.
As a learning support assistant working in education, you’ll want to be part of a caring, encouraging and nurturing environment that helps every child succeed and be the best they can be.
We understand the challenges that come with being a learning support assistant, and that’s why you’ll have a dedicated consultant to support you throughout your career with CER as well as continuous CPD such as safeguarding amongst others. Working in education means there are constant changes and developments, and whilst the industry is developing, we’ll help you develop too!
To be considered for the position of a learning support assistant you must:
- Have experience working with young people in an education environment
- Have a graduate degree or equivalent qualification
- Apply the school’s behaviour management policy and report any difficulties to the class teacher/head teacher
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team
