Location: Cambridgeshire
Pay: £27.41 per hour (PAYE) | £35.46 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary (Initially 9 Weeks, with potential extension)
Hours: 37 hours per week Seven Resourcing are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join a specialist Adults Learning Disabilities & Autism (LD&A) Team in Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a county-wide high-cost review project, working with adults with learning disabilities and autism to ensure care and support arrangements are person-centred, outcome-focused, and provide value for money while meeting assessed needs. About the Role Working alongside Senior Social Workers and Contracts & Brokerage colleagues, you will undertake reviews of complex care packages, ensuring services remain appropriate, proportionate, and effective. The role offers a blend of home visits and flexible working, with travel required across Cambridgeshire. The initial contract is for 9 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension for longer-term project work. Key Responsibilities * Complete reviews of complex and high-cost care packages for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
* Assess care and support arrangements to ensure positive outcomes are being achieved.
* Work collaboratively with individuals, families, providers, and partner agencies.
* Identify opportunities to improve support arrangements while maintaining person-centred practice.
* Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning where required.
* Work closely with Contracts and Brokerage Teams to ensure appropriate service provision.
* Maintain accurate case records and complete reports within required timescales.
* Ensure all interventions are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice guidance.
* Promote independence, wellbeing, choice, and control for service users. Requirements * Social Work England registration.
* Qualified Social Worker with a recognised social work qualification.
* Experience working within Adult Social Care.
* Knowledge of Learning Disabilities and Autism services.
* Experience undertaking reviews, assessments, and support planning.
* Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation.
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
