Commercial Associate - International Firm - 2-5 PQE

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Commercial Associate (2–5 PQE) to join the highly regarded London-based commercial team of a top international law firm, recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers for its expertise.

The team advises a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients on complex, strategic and business-critical commercial contracts and projects. Clients range from innovative start-ups and high-growth businesses to established multinational organisations across sectors including Life Sciences, Technology, Financial Services, Hotels & Leisure, and Consumer Brands.

The Role

You will advise on a broad spectrum of commercial matters, working directly with partners and senior lawyers on sophisticated, high-value transactions. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, offering exposure to a wide range of industries and cutting-edge commercial issues.

Key areas of work include:

• Supply and manufacturing agreements
• Services agreements
• Distribution and agency arrangements
• Franchising agreements
• Sponsorship and promotional agreements
• Outsourcing projects, including technology transformation programmes
• Software licensing and technology agreements
• Strategic alliances and commercial partnerships
• General commercial contracting and advisory work
• Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be an England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2–5 years' post-qualification experience gained at a leading commercial practice
• Have strong experience advising on a broad range of commercial contracts
• Demonstrate excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
• Possess strong commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Enjoy building trusted client relationships and working collaboratively within a high-performing team
• Have a genuine interest in developing sector expertise across technology, life sciences, financial services and consumer-facing industries
