Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are inviting applications from skilled Design and Technology Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield . This role is ideal for qualified teachers who are passionate about combining creativity with practical skills, enabling pupils to develop technical knowledge, innovation, and confidence through hands-on learning experiences. The Design and Technology Teacher will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons, encouraging pupils to design, create, evaluate, and solve real-world problems while maintaining high standards of safety and achievement. D&T Teacher Responsibilities: * Deliver inspiring lessons across Design and Technology in line with the secondary curriculum
* Teach practical workshop skills while promoting safe and responsible use of equipment
* Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving through project-based learning
* Assess pupils' work and provide constructive feedback to support continuous progress
* Prepare and maintain materials, tools, and workshop resources to ensure effective lesson delivery
* Contribute to curriculum planning and support departmental initiatives and enrichment activities DT Teacher Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
* Experience teaching Design and Technology within a secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms
* Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
* Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills
