The Role

This is a hands-on Bookkeeper position where you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a successful SME. You'll be a trusted member of a close-knit team and play an important role in supporting the continued success of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Credit control
  • Cashflow monitoring
  • Month-end support
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Working extensively with Xero

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working within a smaller business where relationships matter and everyone contributes.

You'll ideally have:

  • Solid bookkeeping experience gained within an SME environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member
  • A proactive, trustworthy and dependable approach
