Job Summary

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Residential Child Care Worker to join our team supporting children and young people. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing nurturing, consistent and relationship-based care within a residential setting. You will work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive and homely environment where young people can achieve positive outcomes in line with their care plans.
We are looking for individuals who are:
Warm, consistent and relational in their approach. Able to understand behaviour as communication and respond with empathy. Skilled in building trusting relationships with vulnerable young people. Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Reflective practitioners who are open to learning and development. Committed to delivering trauma-informed care in line with current best practice Qualifications &
Candidates who do not yet hold SVQ3 must be willing and capable of working towards and achieving this qualification within an agreed timeframe Experience of working with children and young people What We Offer Ongoing training and support A strong focus on trauma-informed and relational practice development Regular supervision and reflective practice opportunities A supportive team environment committed to improving outcomes for young people.
