About the Role
Academics is currently supporting a secondary school in Swindon seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, inspire students, and progress your teaching career within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach English across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to students’ needs
* Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
About You
* Passionate about English and education
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Positive, adaptable, and proactive approach
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (including ECT placements)
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
