Freelance Copywriter ( B2B Life Science/ Healthcare) - ASAP Start

We are looking for an experienced Copywriter to support Agilent campaign projects through asset development. This is a campaign-focused freelance or contract role for a writer who can turn approved strategic and creative messaging into clear, compelling, and accurate production copy across a range of marketing assets. The successful candidate will be comfortable developing headlines, subheads, body copy, calls to action, and basic content structures for both short-form and long-form communications. The scope of work for this role is the development and adaptation of production- ready copy for assets such as social media posts, DAUs, brochures, landing pages, emails, presentations, and similar campaign materials. Copy should be aligned with the approved strategy, messaging framework, audience, channel, and customer journey stage. The work includes two rounds of amendments at each stage. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable working collaboratively, responding constructively to feedback, and refining copy efficiently across a fast-moving campaign schedule. Key responsibilitie s Draft production-ready copy for social media posts, DAUs, brochures, landing pages, emails, presentations, and related campaign assets. Develop headlines, subheads, body copy, calls to action, captions, introductory copy, and supporting content as required. Propose clear and logical content structures for longer-form assets, including page flows, section headings, and information hierarchy. Adapt approved campaign messaging and value propositions for different audiences, channels, formats, and stages of the customer journey. Translate technical, scientific, and product information into copy that is accurate, accessible, engaging, and appropriate for the intended audience. Write copy to agreed specifications, including character counts, word counts, page limits, layout requirements, and channel conventions. Work closely with Creative/Art Directors, Interactive Designers, Artworkers, Digital Producers, Client Management, Strategists, Client Services, and other project stakeholders as necessary Review layouts and designs to ensure copy is clear, complete, accurate, and working effectively within the intended format. Respond constructively to feedback and deliver revisions through the agreed amendment rounds Proofread and edit copy for clarity, consistency, grammar, tone, accuracy, and alignment with approved campaign messaging. Flag gaps, ambiguities, compliance considerations, or dependencies that could affect copy development or production Prepare clean, organized copy documents that make it easy for design, production, and client teams to review and implement the work. Suggested candidate profile Strong production copywriting experience across B2B marketing, integrated campaigns, and multi-channel communications. Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, laboratory, or other science-led B2B sectors. A portfolio demonstrating copy for social media, digital advertising, brochures, landing pages, websites, email, presentations, or comparable marketing assets. Ability to turn strategic messaging into clear, persuasive, and practical copy for different audiences and formats. Experience developing both short-form copy and longer-form educational, technical, or editorial content. Ability to write effective headlines, subheads, body copy, calls to action, and supporting copy while maintaining a consistent campaign voice. Strong attention to detail when writing for technical, scientific, regulated, or information-heavy audiences. Ability to structure content logically and collaborate effectively with designers and other creative partners. Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a clear understanding of grammar, tone, readability, and consistency. Confidence receiving feedback, managing multiple assets, and refining copy efficiently within agreed amendment rounds. Ability to work at pace, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively about risks, questions, and dependencies. Preferred experience Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, laboratory, or other science-led B2B sectors. Previous experience working with Agilent or comparable complex B2B healthcare and life science organisations. Experience writing for technical, regulated, or science-led audiences while keeping the work clear, concise, and compelling. Familiarity with campaign messaging frameworks, value propositions, content hierarchies, and integrated campaign development. Experience developing copy across multiple asset formats, including social, paid media, digital advertising, landing pages, brochures, email, presentations, and web content. Familiarity with reviewing copy in layouts or design files and adapting content to work within visual and production requirements.
