Job Title: Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Brechin Farm Animal
Location: Brechin Farm Animal
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible sessions
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.

About the Role

Our client in Brechin Farm Animal is recruiting a Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside the GP partners. The practice values clinical autonomy and offers protected time, peer support and a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
  • Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
  • Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
  • Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
  • Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Non-medical prescriber
  • Confident working autonomously with GP support
