What You Can Expect

Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments – including an eight-month international placement – you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.

In this role, you will join the global Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships team within Business Strategy, Grid Technologies, contributing to growth initiatives, external collaborations, and M&A activities across the portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.

• Support the end-to-end M&A process, including market screenings, financial modelling, target evaluation, and preparation of internal decision documents
• Conduct market, competitor, and technology analyses to identify opportunities aligned with the energy transition strategy
• Contribute to building strategic partnerships and support due diligence and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Business Areas

What You Bring

• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and structured problem-solving, as well as an interest in energy markets and the energy transition
• Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related discipline with a strong analytical/strategic focus
• Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
• Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel
