English Teacher – September Start

The school is led by an inspirational Headteacher who has created a positive and welcoming culture for both staff and students. As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons that inspire students to develop their literacy skills, confidence and enjoyment of learning. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff and senior leaders who are all committed to helping students achieve positive outcomes. The Role:

- Teaching English to small classes of secondary-aged students
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Supporting students who may have SEMH needs or barriers to learning
- Building positive relationships that encourage engagement and progress
- Monitoring and assessing student achievement
- Working closely with pastoral teams and support staff
- Creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
- Helping students develop confidence, communication and literacy skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to helping every student achieve their potential
