Support Geologist

A leading global provider of reservoir modelling technology is looking to appoint a Support Geologist to join their London team. This is a unique opportunity to combine subsurface expertise with client-facing work, representing one of the most innovative platforms in the industry.

What you’ll do

Act as the technical focal point for clients, providing support both on-site and remotely.

Deliver engaging software demonstrations and assist the business development team in presales discussions.

Provide hands-on training to new and existing users, ensuring they get the most out of the software.

Translate client requirements into practical solutions, maintaining a strong customer-first approach.

Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

What we’re looking for

MSc in Geology, Geoscience, or a related discipline .

Previous experience as a Geologist, Reservoir Geoscientist, or Technical Sales Geologist with exposure to software.

Strong knowledge of geological modelling tools (Petrel, RMS, Leapfrog).

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a standalone London-based role.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with reservoir simulation software (e.g. Eclipse, CMG, tNavigator).

Exposure to programming (Python).

Understanding of end-to-end workflows – seismic interpretation through to volumetrics and uncertainty analysis.
