Groundworker – Gloucester and Cheltenham

Experienced Groundworker required in Gloucester and Cheltenham areas to work with a busy and reputable contractor on a new reactive maintenance contract on social housing properties in the Gloucester and Cheltenham areas. 

This is a really exciting permanent opportunity with a salary of £35,360 per annum plus a van, fuel card, 20 days holiday bank holidays and a pay day every 2 weeks. 

Groundworker Day to Day:

• Disrepair works on social housing properties
• Concrete and brick repairs
• Excavating and replacement of concrete paths
• Lift and relay patios slabs
• Installing new paths and associated brick and block repairs
• Work will be varied property to property
• Reporting on progress to a supervisor
• Working efficiently and safely
• Using a tablet to log progress on jobs
• Travelling in the work van to various properties
• Dealing with customers and making them feel at ease

Groundworker Requirements:

• Good groundworks experience 
• Previous experience working within social housing
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license
• DBS will be done for successful candidate
