East of England Neurosurgery Network Specialist Nurse

£49.39k - £56.52k per annum
Temporary
Job summary
The East of England Neurosurgery Network (EoE NN) is hosted by Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and is the region's sole Neurosurgery Clinical Network. It was launched in October 2023, and it operates under the motto " Collaborating in Cranial Excellence ". Its triple aim is to improve quality, reduce inequalities, and to improve value of neurosurgical management across the eastern region.

Main duties of the job
The position is full-time 37.5 hours/week; hybrid working is encouraged and reasonable occasional travel expenses are provided for ad-hoc travel across the East of England which can be flexible to your schedule

As East of England Neurosurgery Network Specialist Nurse, you will join a team of colleagues committed to quality improvement in cranial neurosurgery across the eastern region. The post holder will receive formal training in project management via PRINCE2 accreditation (PRINCE2 with Agile Foundation +/- Practitioner). To encourage clinical development, we will also facilitate appropriate clinical experience in neurosurgery

In collaboration with the EoE NN team, you will take a lead on the following 2026/7 workstreams:
  • Patient engagement (utilising a co-design approach with identified partners and receiving training in experience-based co-design, EBCD)
  • Training (facilitating a pre-designed programme of neurosurgical education for non-specialist healthcare workers)
This post represents a unique opportunity for a mid-career nurse to take an active role in a regional funded quality improvement initiative (EoE NN), whilst also further developing clinical skills across relevant sub-specialties of neurosurgery

We encourage all interested colleagues to join our webinar (12.30pm on Thurs 17th Sept 2026) to learn more about the EoE NN and the offered roles. Contact Kitti Czegledi for joining details or to access the recording View email address on meeveem.com
