We’re currently looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful pupil who needs a little extra help to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing one to one support to a pupil during lessons, breaktimes, and transitions throughout the school day.
- Helping to create a calm, encouraging and safe learning environment where your pupil can flourish.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt learning tasks and ensure the pupil’s individual needs are met.
- Using your creativity and emotional intelligence to turn everyday moments into joyful learning experiences.
- Celebrating every achievement big or small because you’ll be part of their journey.
Who You Are:
- You have a genuine love for working with children, especially those who need a bit of extra support to unlock their potential.
- You’re patient, resilient and full of positive energy ready to guide, support and champion your pupil every step of the way.
- You’re a great communicator who works well with teachers, parents and other staff.
- Experience in a primary school or supporting SEND is helpful, but what really matters is your attitude, empathy and commitment.
- (Bonus points if you’ve worked with children with autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs!)
