The Opportunity

As Head of VAT , you'll become the firm's leading indirect tax specialist, working alongside the Head of Tax to develop the VAT offering and drive the next phase of growth.

You'll inherit an established client base, benefit from strong internal referral opportunities and have the autonomy to develop your own business plan, build your external profile and shape the future direction of the service line.

This role has been created with succession in mind. As your profile grows and you continue to develop the practice, you'll have a clear and direct route to Partnership.

Your Role

You'll combine technical excellence with commercial leadership by:

• Leading the firm's VAT advisory offering.
• Acting as the principal VAT adviser to clients and colleagues.
• Growing existing client relationships while winning new business.
• Identifying opportunities across the wider firm through collaboration with Corporate Tax, Private Client, Audit and Advisory teams.
• Mentoring and developing the VAT team.
• Raising the firm's profile through networking, speaking engagements and thought leadership.
• Working closely with the Head of Tax to shape strategy and deliver long-term growth.

Who We're Looking For

You'll already have established yourself as a respected VAT adviser within practice and be ready for a broader leadership opportunity.

We're interested in speaking with:

• VAT Directors
• Associate Directors
• Exceptional Senior Managers approaching Director level

Your technical background could include property, financial services, international VAT, not-for-profits, supply chain, owner-managed businesses or multinational clients.

More important than your sector experience is your ability to:
