Grade/Salary : 1 (SCP 03)/ £25948 pro rata per annum
Working Pattern : 18.5 hours per week (flexible rota pattern)
Location : Red Gables, East Rainton, Houghton-Le-Spring

About the role

As a General Assistant, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home for children and young people. Your work will make a real difference by ensuring the home is clean, comfortable, well maintained and ready for children and young people during their short break stay.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, caring and takes pride in their work. If you enjoy working as part of a team and want to help improve the lives of children and young people, we’d love to hear from you.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will also carry out an online internet search for information that is publicly available online that might suggest that you are not fit to work with children or young people.
