Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology across KS3–KS5 , depending on experience

• Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons

• Support students in developing culinary skills, food preparation techniques, and nutritional knowledge

• Monitor student progress and provide high-quality feedback

• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies

• Maintain a safe and well-organised food preparation environment

• Support extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs or food enrichment programmes

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related subject

• PGCE or QTS

• Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary or independent school setting

• Passion for practical learning and creative teaching approaches
