The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Review and finalise audit files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and resolve audit issues, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in business development activities and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification).
- Proven experience in leading audits within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
