What you will do

* Conduct assessments of speech, language, and communication needs and provide feedback to the team.
* Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes tailored to the needs of each young person, ensuring they achieve their fullest potential.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to create integrated learning and therapeutic environments.
* Provide support and training to educational staff to ensure therapeutic approaches continue consistently.
* Engage with families and carers to provide advice and support tailored to each young person's communication needs.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports for the benefit of ongoing clinical evaluation and assessment.

Requirements

* Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant professional registration.
* Experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs, including autism.
* Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality therapeutic support and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
