About Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.
Our charity was founded in 1988, and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.
Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.
We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.
As a multi-award winning charity we ensure our colleagues and the people we support live the best lives possible. In 2025, we launched our new strategy - Best Lives, Bolder. Find our more - click here.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Our home is a friendly and vibrant block of 15 flats spread across two floors, with 7 flats on the ground floor and 8 on the first floor. We also have a shared garden at the rear of the building where we enjoy spending time together. Although we are located on a main road, our homes are peaceful and quiet, with very little traffic noise. There is plenty of parking available for staff and visitors.
We are a diverse group of people with different personalities, interests, abilities, and support needs. Some of us live with mental health conditions, some have learning disabilities, and others have physical disabilities. What we all have in common is the desire to live independently, make our own choices, and be supported in a way that is meaningful to us.
Some of the things we enjoy include dancing, listening to music, bowling, bingo, watching TV and documentaries, socialising with friends and family, and taking part in community activities.
We are fun-loving, outgoing, kind, and caring people. While we all have different goals and ambitions, our shared aim is to live life to the fullest, make our own decisions, and enjoy the opportunities that matter most to us.
What you'll be doing
