Production Operative

Production Operative Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Production Operative to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities as a Production Operative:
- Assemble conventional and SMT circuit boards in accordance with build instructions, specifications and quality standards.
- Undertake cable and wiring assembly using Hand soldered and Hand crimped terminations to required standards.
- Build finished products and sub-assemblies from components in line with production documentation, drawings and works instructions.
- Carry out fault identification, rework and repair of assemblies affected by defects or non-conformances.
- Complete in-process inspection checks and maintain accurate production records.
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly
- Ability to understand product build requirements and read technical drawings
- Good manual dexterity and hand – eye coordination
- Hand soldering and crimping experience
- Excellent eye for detail
- Salary of £26,227 - £30,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
