A wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in the BS8 area of Bristol are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across some KS2 classes starting in September.
You will be joining a fabulous Key Stage 2 team, who work hard to provide an exciting and engaging learning environment for their pupils, a safe place for them to be themselves and explore their understanding of the world.
The Role
You will be expected to work every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 to 3:30.
The Head Teacher is looking for a flexible candidate, someone who can use their initiative when supporting groups of students with their learning, along with adapting activities to support individual pupils.
You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities.
- Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt activities to meet the needs of individuals.
- Work 1:1 with children and in small groups supporting interventions.
- Be patient and encourage pupils to challenge themselves.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
