Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new opportunity to advance and progress? VANRATH are partnered with a leading company in their field who are in search of a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team. As the Credit Controller you will join the team based in Belfast.

This is a Full time permanent position, interviewing now. Immediate start available.

What you'll do

As the new Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio within the group.

• Maintain the debt ledger across one or more operating entities
• Ensuring customers adhere to agreed payment terms
• Process customer payments accurately
• Proactively resolve price mismatches, quantity disputes, and promotional invoice queries
• Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolve any queries
• Collaborate with the sales team on overdue accounts
• Raise credit notes with authorisation and maintain detailed account notes for reporting
• Provide cover for colleagues as needed
• Assist the management team with ad hoc requests

About you

• At least 2 years credit control experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with team members and senior stakeholders
• Adaptable and flexible to meet with demands
