The school provides exceptional education and support for pupils aged 5-16 with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Communication and Interaction Difficulties, SEMH, and Complex Needs.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, learning needs, and complex needs.
* Develop and implement effective interventions and personalised learning plans.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
* Promote pupils' academic, social, emotional, communication, and life skills development.
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents, carers, and external agencies.
* Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation through tailored approaches.
* Maintain high expectations and encourage independence and confidence in all learners.
* Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

About You
To be considered, you will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN in either a specialist provision or SEN school.
* Strong knowledge of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, and complex needs.
* Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
* A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* A commitment to inclusion, pupil progress, and safeguarding.
