The Position

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for mathematics and empowering students to develop essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and supports students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's high standards, catering to Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to guide their learning journey.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore mathematical concepts and challenge themselves.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to the school's continued success.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and advancements in mathematics education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
