The Manchester office of this national firm that has an excellent reputation and is expanding rapidly, is currently seeking to recruit a Tax Director / Partner Designate to join its successful and busy tax team. This role will provide a varied and interesting caseload for an ambitious tax specialist with a focus on tax advisory work. You will have a solid technical grounding and a corporate tax background and preferably you will already have experience of SME related tax planning gained within a top 20 firm or have corporate tax advisory experience gained in the mid cap sector in a Big 4 firm. Additionally, if you have expertise in a particular area of tax, or can see scope to develop one commercially, that may be advantageous. You will be either ACA or CTA qualified, with a commercial outlook and the ability to play an active role in business development.
Please note that only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have an appropriate amount of practical relevant UK tax experience will be considered for this role. Additionally, candidates who are already registered with us will be automatically considered for this role.
