KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS

• Curriculum Design & Instruction: Plan, resource, and deliver highly structured, evidence-based science lessons that challenge students across all technical and academic abilities.

• Practical Laboratory Leadership: Coordinate and execute safe, engaging practical experiments, ensuring students master foundational laboratory techniques, scientific data collection, and safety protocols.

• Academic Progress Monitoring: Implement rigorous formative and summative assessment routines, using pupil tracking data to design sharp, targeted interventions that bridge learning gaps.

• Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 cohorts systematically through the demands of terminal GCSE combined and triple science specifications, maximizing progress outcomes for all learners.

• Pastoral Care Integration: Undertake full form tutor responsibilities, managing daily registration, monitoring pupil attendance, and delivering structured personal development units.
